Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career acting in the 1980s. She became famous for the movie Tezaab with an established actor Anil Kooor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. In the beginning, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she started to dance. She started acting when young and fought through a couple of years since most of her initial film projects were unsuccessful. Eventually, she found success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. The marriage of her mother led to a hiatus in her career. She returned later. Recently, she played a significant role on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit received the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
